A CHARTER ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANDALE, KANSAS, EXEMPTING THE CITY OF ANDALE, KANSAS, FROM THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 25-2108A, WHICH REQUIRES A PRIMARY ELECTION BEFORE THE GENERAL ELECTION TO ELIMINATE CERTAIN CANDIDATES FOR CITY OFFICES.

Pursuant to the home rule powers granted to the City of Andale, Kansas, by Article 12, Section 5, of the Kansas Constitution, the provisions of K.S.A. 25-2108A, which require a primary election prior to the general election to eliminate certain candidates for City offices, is hereby declared to be inapplicable to the City of Andale, Kansas, pursuant to its home rule powers.
